1932 Ferrari Drogo Sport 1 of 1
Our own David Patterson is always testing or detailing something, and quite a few times have teamed up with another great detailer for some of our projects. It was an honor and pleasure, as usual, to work alongside of Connor Harrison of CH Detailing.
This Ferrari Drogo spot was built by another coachwork company than the others, and is a 1 of 1 car. This Drogo Sport has been restored, and the paint was in decent condition overall, but had many random defect, along with some much-needed rock chip repair. For this vehicle, we performed the following:
- Washed and clay bared the surfaces
- Prepped the vehicle for polishing by removing necessary pieces, taping, and covering areas where polish and dust need to stay out of.
- Connor touched up the front end with Dr. Colorchip
This was polished using the new Microfiber cutting pads (when they were in prototype phase) and the grey thin pro pads. Dave was only able to help on this vehicle for one day, so the finish polishing was done all By Connor, then he applied a ceramic coating to the entire car to help preserve, and protect the paint.
You can check out both Connor and Dave’s work on their website or Facebook Pages. Connor is based in Madison, where Dave is closer to Milwauke.
