Leather Care - Part 1

If you have leather interior in your vehicle, one can notice it turning shiny and getting dirty.  Many leathers on the market are plastic coated for durability.  When I am detailing a vehicle for a customer, I will vacuum the leather with a small brush to get all the dirt out of the cracks and seams.  After that is done, I will mix up a mild all purpose cleaner (usually 4 parts water and 1 part cleaner) or use my steamer to start deep cleaning.  My next article will be how to apply the cleaner to the leather.
