Wheel Protection

Many people have fancy rims on their vehicle.  When someone cleans a car, it’s always nice to clean the rims also.  (See Tire Cleaning article on how to clean.)  Once the wheels are clean, it is best to use a wax or sealant on the wheels for protection from brake dust and or road grime.  The wax or sealant will help prevent dirt particles and brake dust from sticking to the rim and make clean-up for the next time a lot easier with just soap and water.  One could use a paste liquid or spray wax sealant and remove with a microfiber.
