There are many myths about the type of cloths to use on your vehicle. The old way was using a terrycloth or old T-shirt. That was then. With today’s modern technology, microfiber is the way to go. It’s softer, doesn’t scratch and comes in many different styles. The towels are 100% plastic and are machine washable as long as there is no fabric softener used (this will seal the towel, making it useless and have to be rewashed.) Micro-fiber comes in many styles for different applications. There are waffle weaves for drying and for glass. There are short napped towels for removing waxes, long napped towels for dusting or removing product. There are also different borders on the towels. Silk borders prevent scratching; edgeless also prevents scratching and standard sewn edge for general purpose. Do your research to find the right towel for your needs.
